I am a seasoned traveller whose passion for the open road has taken me across continents and cultures. Born and raised in the UK, I traded a stagnant office life in London for seven years of adventure in Europe, working as a campsite rep, manager, and maintenance engineer in Italy, Germany, France, and beyond. My love for solo travel began with a train ride to Genoa in 2002 and has since fuelled epic trips, including a four-month overland trek from Kathmandu to the UK.

I currently live in Whitstable, Kent, with my family and am always planning the next adventure. When not exploring, I enjoy spending time with my family and sailing on my classic yacht, Oenanthe, a Golden Hind 31.
